Sony's Adam Boyes Departs PlayStation

Adam Boyes, PlayStation's VP of 3rd Party Relations, is leaving Sony Entertainment America to return to his game-developing roots. The executive announced his resignation tardily last calendar week on the PlayStation Blogcast.

He confirmed the move on his on personal Twitter account besides.

Despite what he chosen an "incredible experience," Boyes has movedo north to chase his dream of making video games again.

"Developing content, seeing all the success and seeing all the people out in that location doing swell things and putting circumspection to the current of air is pretty heady," he said of his "large, impaired decision."

Later billowy from Electronic Arts to Next Level Games, so Midway Games and Capcom, Boyes ran Beefy Media for two years earlier taking a job with SIEA, where he oversees publisher and developer relations and manages third-political party partnerships.

"It's really the longest task I've always had in my career," he told Shuman, looking back on a 21-year career in gaming.

"This task has afforded me the ability to go and look at stuff way earlier it comes out and talk to developers. Merely at present I get to get up at that place and use my own ideas and make things again with a team, and that's the kind of stuff that just … fills my saucepan," Boyes said. "Not that [working for PlayStation] isn't amazing. Information technology's been incredible. Simply creating things again is and so neat."

Boyes did not reveal his official last solar day, where he is going side by side, or what video games are on his horizon.
